"We have agreed to take the first run of these amps..."
I wonder if they are getting a short exclusive, like the Galaxie, and how short that exclusive is? I have an excellent local dealer and prefer to support them. If we do not support our local dealers, they may not be there when we need them.

If I understand the situation correctly, Eric at Willcutt's was the one who asked Doc to make the RxES Jr., and has the first amps going exclusively to his shop. Later, the amp will be available to all dealers. Stu at Fatsound is getting the first Mazerati GT's, and later that amp too will be available at all dealers. The Galaxie will be the first model released (soon). Sometime in late summer the RxES Jr. will ship, with the Mazerati GT shipping in the fall. None of these amps have shipped as far as I know. If I'm wrong hopefully Brent or the Doc will correct me.

Oh, dang - I didn't know it had a master volume. This may have moved to the top of my "get" list...

If I understand the situation correctly, Eric at Willcutt's was the one who asked Doc to make the RxES Jr., well, except for several of us here at the forum who have also been begging Doc to make an RxES Jr...

The RXES has such a sweet clean tone that I've always been tempted by it but an 18 or 20 watt with master volume would be all I would need. I can't wait to see one!

Does anyone know how many watts the Rx Jr. is?

Does anyone know how many watts the Rx Jr. is? I don't know for sure, but half of the regular ES would be about 22. It probably isn't quite that simple, but I'd think it is somewhere around there.

Well, I think this is my new small club lust piece...although last weekend...no let's not go there! ;D I'd love to be able to test drive this amp. At 420 bucks more than a Ghia the Ghia is still attractive though. But with the master, this may be exactly what I'm looking for, for all these 50 room clubs i'm playing. Plus I need something with a sweet clean tone. ahhhhh!!!!! ;D

Dayum Jason! You're The Man. You've got the right to keep that grin going for at least a month. Add some of that fine Z BBQ juice and life in Bama doesn't get much better. Congratulations on a fine purchase. You'll have to let us know when the new baby is shipped. Tas, you're gas'in down the right track and I'm right there with you.

Can you video this happy dance of yours so we can all see it? Nope, because although at the time it occurs, I am so happy that I am oblivious to anyone or anything else going on, the fact remains that I REALLY can't dance soooo... for your viewing safety I must simply say... Nah!

Will production models say "Jr" on the front like the Maz18 ? I would love to see a Stangray Jr also.

Looks like the one at Willcutts just says " Junior Strength" under the input jacks in the same place where it says " Extra Strength" on the big un, but with the logo the same as on all the RX's. So I guess I've been wrong calling it the RX ES JR... and maybe it should be referred to as the RX Junior Strength?? or simply RX JR?

I've been on the fence about which Z amp I want to buy when I get the money (and I have lots of time to decide . I love lower powered amps so I can get good volumes and my neighbors won't be banging on the door, and when I saw this, well, it's like the doc made it for me. The master volume on the back is the real selling point for me, not to mention the versatility. Thanks, Doc!

Is the Master going to remain on the back of the amp, or is just the proto that way because Doc used an RX chassis? It's not a huge complaint, but having the master on the front would obviously be more handy.
