Don't matter how cool we are anywhere else, when we're home with the missus, we're Homer Simpson. d'OH!

Too Funny! ;D
I just accepted a labouring job for a landscaping/roofing company. I can see I'm gonna need some extra money very soon.

Can't wait. The ES Jr. will be my first Z! And I do have my wife's approval. Probably be the last amp I buy.

It won't be the last... ;D Once you have one Z you will crave more, more, more. Trust me on that! Congrats on the order. You will love that amp. I heard it at Z-fest and knew it was an instant classic. Now how am I going to swing one as well?... Paul

Thanks Paul. I'm sure it won't be my last, but this will hold me for good number of years...I'm running out of things to sell!
What were you overall impressions of the Rx Jr.? How was the clean side? What about the grit?
I switched my order from a Maz Jr. to the Rx...I don't think I'll regret that.

Don't matter how cool we are anywhere else, when we're home with the missus, we're Homer Simpson. d'OH! You guys are killin me! I give the 'boyz' to my wife when I'm home. Go out and mow the lawn honey, oh here ya might need these... (Jen's gonna kick me hard for that one) Thanks for the laughs guys. For 15 watts that's one potent amp. Two blues and an RXES Jr $$$ I better go get that boyz back from the misses to break the news.

I think you would be happy with either. I really like my Maz JR...but, when I turn up the RX and Z-best...man! The RXESJR sounded sweet. The master volume on the back is the best feature IMO. My RX you HAVE to run the airbrake or it is way loud. That feature can save you gigs, marriages etc... ;D The overdose switch is also cool. I like using it in both Hi and Lo gain inputs. Great stuff! PM Jason Glreaton on his comments of the RXJR. He is way into it! Paul

Thanks again Paul. I'll drop Jason a line.
I've heard the master volume on the Rx Jr. is more effective than the one on the Maz Jr. Seems the Maz still has to be run wide open to really get the good stuff going. Hopefully the Rx Jr. you can do the same at lower levels. We'll see.

Show her how much a London or other similarly expensive amp is. Then explain how frugal you really are. Be careful not to crack a smile while doing this or all bets are off.
The shoes thing would not work for me. SWMBO is not really into shoes.

Well I just started busting my butt with a friends lanscaping company so I can earn some extra bucks to go towards a new Z. Probably the RXES Jr or maybe a Ghia. Just had 8 hours on a Jackhammer and shovelling cement. I can't even hold a guitar right now. The things we do for love!

I grew up in the construction business so I know what you are saying about the jackhammer. Please consider getting some serious wrist supports if you are going to do this much more. You can do major tendon damage if you are not used to those kinds of stresses.

Thanks Genjokoan, I definitely have gone too hard too soon. Just trying to impress but I am one sore boy. Funny thing is, all day today on the jackhammer, I couldn't get Mark Knoppler outta my head. "Ya play the guitar on the MTV, oh THAT ain't workin" ;D Just finished...time to grab a two hour nap and off to my Fri night gig. This better be one fine amp! ;D
