Guys I'm not trying to be a tease, but it does take some time to get the product ready and information out to support it. I will be sending out a mass E mail tomorrow to all my dealers with info about the DB 4, so they will be armed to answer questions.
Friday March 25 the web site page will go live with the excellent Brad Paisley video. Friday dealers will be able take orders on the DB 4. We are building chassis as I type and hope to have the amps ready to ship in short order.
How's that !

There will be a head well under 2k.
A 1X12 Ultra lite combo loaded with a Celestial Gold.
And a special 2x12 Bluesbreaker style combo loaded with Celestion Blues, nicknamed Zagato.

64K question. What if anything is going into the discontinued zone? Well the DB 4 will take the place of the StangRay. Unfortunately we only sold 6 StangRay's in 2015, 5 combo's, 1 head.
I generally use the 2 a month number to determine the life of a product. Go below 24 a year and the model is on shaky ground.
Others that will be placed on hold are the KT 45 and the SRZ 65.
Z Well, the Stangray is the amp I have been lusting after to compliment my Remedy. I wonder if the DB4 will be similar, only better?

Based off of Doc's description, I don't see the DB4 being similar to 'Ray at all. In a different post he described the DB4 tone as being focused more on the thicker lower mid tones with no jangle or clang. The 'Ray is all about lows and highs with tons of jangle and clang. |
