Got to play one today. Those who have on order you are very lucky! Those who don't have one on order you will want one! I was impressed by how good it sounded at a reasonable volume level. It was loud but not as blistering as I remember the prototype being from last summer. This is going to be a great spring around here! Todd

Any time a new model comes out its exciting There won't be one in the cards for me since I already have enough amps similar to this (Remedy, Route 66 and Reinhardt LT-1). Sure the Antidote is different, but likely not enough to warrant a purchase. I may still change my mind once I hear a good demo (studio, not live) and see how much gain this thing gives up. However, I suspect it won't be what I'm looking for. Keith

That's cool you had a chance to play one Todd. I was very interested in the Antidote until I read the production model has no master. That pretty much rules it out for me. I'm sure it sounds great.... I play mostly at home or just jam with friends. Sometimes we have a dirty bar gig. Nothing at all serious. I'm just not sure the "big boy pants" line will work with my wife.... or anywhere we might play at.
Bummer.

The neat thing is that it sounded really great at a reasonable volume, I think a brake on the back side will work pretty good. Not sure it will do bed room levels but it has a nice break up with very good sustain.

here are my comments from another when you asked me that same question "^^^ it was last summer when I played it last so its been a while. As I recall, it stayed cleaner longer than the Remedy's I've played and had a crisper overdrive. The Remedy break up reminds more of a Marshal growl (a good thing) where the Antidote reminded me more of a Z28 sizzle (also a good thing). Picture a Z28ish overdrive with more of a growl to it. It was muscular sounding and really rocked with the humbucker in my Parker. I didn't play my tele thru is all though but I am sure it would be cool. The tone by pass would send the Antidote thru the roof though (also a good thing) and really gave some awesome power tube overdrive. The one I played thru was head and was run into my 2x12 with a pair G12-65's in it. Those speakers have a great rock tone to them and it seemed to compliment the Antidote nicely. I have a video of James playing thru it with the KT-66 tubes in it that I will post as soon as I can find it. The Doc said it was okay to post it now so I'll get that up and running. From the sound of it, this may well be an amp to have.
