Hey guys, Just thought I would share the love on something I stumbled upon. I was looking for a way to protect my Ghia head and since Anvil is out of my price range right now I started looking for cheap alternatives. The bags that THD has for their heads got me thinking and low and behold I found something... Turns out a Gator case - double kick drum pedal bag is a perfect fit. PERFECT. Best thing is it's only $30 www.gatorcases.com/productsmodeldetail.aspx?LID=11&PID=59&MID=135Anyways, hope this helps someone else.

Yes I got it for Christmas (was top of my list - haha). I thought that if it was close to the right size it would be cool. It's better than that though, it really fits like it was made for it.
I believe this would work on Z-28's too.

Do you trust the handle with the weight?

Glad people found this useful!
Hope you guys will chime back in after you get yours.
The two side handles seem fine. Maybe a touch short once the amp is inside. They barely come together. But seems strong enough so far.
I wasn't crazy about the shoulder strap. It just seemed awkward.

Mine just arrived from Crossroad Music last week. It fits like a glove and has nice internal padding covered with soft fabric. The top pocket is perfect for the detachable power cord. The handles seem like they will last, but the shoulder strap is pretty useless. I don't think a custom made bag could fit any better!!!
This is a steal for $30.00 shipped and is the best protection other than a flight case you can get for a Ghia.
I'm giving you another Karma mojowrkn. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! ;D

Better than Tuki in a since , took mine to gig with BW this weekend , less dust and moisture factor , and is top of the line for sure not to bash Tuki , everything I own is Blue Tuki's

I just scored one of these cases on eBay that had never even been used for $23 shipped! The seller had just sold his Ghia, and didn't end up using it.

Hi All, Anyone know of anything like this for a Ghia 1x12 combo? There is a company called Studio Slips that makes "clam shell" type covers for amps. Unlike Tuki, they totally encase an amp from top to bottom. They cost allot more than the Gator bag though. Here's the link. Studio Slips

I use a Filson large duffle bag ( 30" x14" x 13") for my MAZ Jr head . Add foam & you're ready to go in style. These are great for dual purposes ( gigs/travel). Luke

I just got my two for the Ghia And Z-28. The bags are excellent quality with some pretty decent protection. They don't look cheesy at all IMHO.
Thanks mojowrkn!

I just got my bag last Friday, on Saturday stuck my Ghia in it and drug it of to practice. This bag is perfect for this. The only worry I have is that our drummer was eying it. Mojowrkn- Thanks for the great heads up .

I just got my Tuki cover for my new (as yet unplayed) Ghia 1x12. It is black with Blue side panels. Very nice, great fit too!
So far so good.
