What's your favorite PRS and why? Trem or hard tail, single or double cut away? If you have one post a pic I'd love to see it.

Here's my old '96 CE22. She was 'rode hard n' put away wet' but never gave me a lick of trouble. I just got her re-crowned every couple of years and re-did the electronics once. Great guitar; she was a bit like an SG with the snap of a Tele. Sent using some app on whatever device this is

I really love everything about the DGT...except the neck profile. If the DGT had the Brett Mason neck profile, there would be one hanging on my wall!

It's a fairly chunky neck with big frets...plus it comes with .011's from the factory. A nice fat tone, but you have to earn it ;-)

Great with my Ghia I'd like to give a DGT another shot...with fresh stings and a setup I'm sure it would be fine (the one I played had been hanging on the wall for 3 years).

I have a 97 custom 24 10 top in trans purple and a 98 standard 24 in gold. They play beautifully and almost never need setup. I have pics somewhere and will upload tomorrow. EDIT: Here are the pics ...

I could never find the one that was able to separate me from my money until a few weeks ago when I was travelling with the family. Something about spending over a thousand dollars doing something that you have no interest in just to be a good dad made me think I needed a treat too. Hardtail Custom 22 with a rosewood neck. I've had a hard time putting it down and it was just made for the Route 66.

I like the Custom 24 and the DGT. The DGT is becoming one if my favorite guitars. As was mentioned above, the neck is chunky on the DGT and it comes with 11s but it totally rocks. The single coil mode works great.
I have never been dissapointed with anything PRS has made. Even the SE line is very well built for the money.
The good thing about PRS is it doesn't have the price premium (yet) to the degree Gibson and Fender do. Yeah PRS guitars are expensive but you get a very well made guitar and their QC is as good as it gets. You can pay more for a fancy 10 top, artist or private stock model or just go with a solid color guitar and they will sound about the same.

I really like 245's. Great tone, but one thing that set it apart from a LP was the knob layout. It made more sense to me than the Gibson layout. I owned this one for a while and I should have kept it. The lack of standard PRS bling drew me to it. Looks like Joel would like to get his hands on it, too!

That gold is what made me buy the standard 24. In a moment of weakness, after I sold my LP Goldtop, someone offered that to me and i couldn't resist, haha. I added the pics to my post above.

Sucker looks tried and true! Yeah, I probably shouldn't have let her go. In the last few years since I did I always check-out used CEs when I come across them. The ones upon which I've laid hands feel very consistent so I'm confident that should I really get sentimental I'll be able to grab another and be happy.

I recently had a chance the noodle on a friend's 245 that had the more Gibby-esque two piece bridge/stop bar. Even though he had lighter strings on it than I'm used to (10-46 I think) the thing sounded great acoustically. The Pattern neck was a no-brainer also; I didn't even think about it until he mentioned it. That's something about PRS; they always just feel great even if they diverge from what you normally go for in terms of neck shape. Same thing goes for the SE line. Crazy good for the money.

I've owned two CE 22 models, a pair of SE p90 models and one P24. One was made in '94 & the other 2001. They played well and sounded great but I have since found other guitars that suit me better. I loved the style as a kid and may find another down the road that draws me in but I don't miss any of them.

My favorite was a mid-late nineties "standard maple top 22". Essentially an opaque (in this case black) version of the custom 22. Had a wide fat neck, feather weight and sweet tone from the Dragon 1 pickups. I regret selling that one!
