The only problem I have with the z wreck head/cab is how effing loud it is. That being said, I understand that is part of what makes it awesome. I think this amp is quite possibly the most perfect telecaster amp out there and its the sexiest looking amp I've ever seen. I am thinking about buying a combo as well though but want to ask your opinion since I can't demo one. Is it quieter? Does it still have that 3d sound like the 2x12 does? What are the main sonic differences? Thanks in advance friends.

The combo seems more 3D to me! Sound coming from everywhere. Even out of the top of the little blue box. The 30 watt's is working one speaker harder than splitting the power between 2 speakers too. That and the cab is more resonant than the 2-12 cab. All this adds up to a killer little amp. Love it!!

Don't tease Mark! Some of us are not so fortunate. But on a positive note, wife said I can spend my tax return on gear!!! Is it quieter? Does it still have that 3d sound like the 2x12 does?
