Really fantastic. Did you use some kind of adhesive on the pick guard? It looks cool that way (sans screws)

Just needs a Z logo on the headstock and your in business. Very nice and well done I for one certainly would not have the patience to wait and take my time and get the procedure right like you have I want to try a telecaster partscaster build at some point but finding the good quality parts will cost as much as buying the genuine article.

Thanks everybody. It plays and sounds so good. It exceeded any of my expectations. Even the local tech commented on how nice the fret work was and how good it sounded.
For the pickguard I used the adhesive sheets they use to attach acoustic guitar pickguards.
A few guys asked when I'll do another one, or what's next. Well..... I put away the wood tools and out comes the welder. I picked up an older Buell XB12 motorcycle (basket case) and am having a "biker build off " with a friend of mine. He is doing a Virago. That should be fun and keep me busy over the winter. So I'm hoping next March/April I'll try another guitar. Not sure what body style, but definitely it will be from Precision Guitar Kits. He has a great product.

I wanted to bump this 'cause it came out so great. Congrats. Thanks! I've been using this guitar a lot. It really sounds great. And plays very well also. I never did update with better photos. Its hard to get a good picture with a cell phone. Its so shiny it picks up reflections real easy. Nobody wants to see my ugly mug in a reflection . Here are a few more I just took. Depending on the light it can look black cherry, or maroon, or bright red.
