I generally try and keep the pedal collection to a minimum so it’s very rare when I see a board containing 3 pedals I’m lusting after! The 2 Jams and the Discovery - would love to hear about your thoughts on the Suhr delay! (The monk and Wahcko I KNOW I want already) The wahcko and the monk are above and beyond what I expected the coolest thing is they both sound rich and organic and they absolutely sound insane with a fuzz! I bought the monk as a vibe alternative. I had the jam retro vibe which is by far the best vibe I have ever played however it took up too much space on my board and I was unable to fit my wah on my board because of it. So now that I got the monk it has fixed that problem, You will not be disappointed with either of these pedals. The Discovery is incredible as well it’s very easy to create and save patches. The delay times are unlimited you can dial in super long delays. Plus you can also lock in tempos. All you have to do is look up the tempo on a song and lock that tempo into a preset and your delay tone will fit perfectly on beat. The tone is very pure like the jam stuff. It has tap tempo as well but with the ability to set the tempo it’s more accurate. The repeats are lush and articulate. It’s honestly the best delay I have ever owned. I was a strymon el Capistan user for many years but this suhr discovery is on a whole nother level. I’m running it through the loop of my mesa boogie Fillmore 50 combo. It sounds incredible.

Make that Version 1.2. I KNOW have a dirt addiction problem. Found a delay for $40 that is too good to pass up. Now I need a reverb and a chorus/flanger.

Sounds best with guitar straight into amp…why do I buy this stuff? Under construction. Actual results may vary. Do not try at home. postimg.cc/7GfcrfRh

G.A.S...a sickness I suffer from and I'm OK with admitting I have a problem and I'm taking steps to fix it...Yeah...RIGHT!!!
I did just pickup a smaller Temple Audio board (Duo 24) and will be downsizing from my Trio 28...so less pedals, right? Baby steps. Stay tuned for photos after I play Tetris with the new board.
Teese Pic Wah > Chase tone Red Velvet Fuzz > Greer Lightspeed Organic Overdrive > Fulltone Full-Drive 2 ...or... Dr. Z. Z Drive > MXR Phase 90 (think 70's country and Uni-Vibe) > Catalinbread Topanga Reverb > Analog Man ARDX20 + Amaze1 > Fulltone Supa-Trem > Sonic Research ST-300.
The only things I removed are a Boss GE-7 (sending it to Analog Man for mods) and the Lehle volume peda (I never could get those pedal steel bends right...and we have a pedal steel player...I let him do them)l. I suspect it will sound just fine (straight-in, right?!?) and my load-in will be smaller/lighter....win/win!
Cheers all!

...and here it is! We played a show over the weekend and it worked great. The only "iffy" spot is the Time Machine Boost...I may put the Bad Bob back on since I rarely if ever use the '60s or 70's side.

I believe that's been on your board for quite some time! New board looks nice though!

I believe that's been on your board for quite some time! New board looks nice though! Yep...while the ARDX20 sounded fantastic but I used it so infrequently. Couple that with the space it takes up and I couldn't justify leaving. The Faux Tape does a good job on the handful of songs where delay is needed. That said...it's changed already...but I DID warn you! I swapped the TMB for the Bad Bob...then decided I had too much room on the bottom row...so I re-added the Boss GE-7. I have a couple of them so the MIT model gets to "play" while the MIJ model goes for a ride to Analog-Mike for his "touch." I'll use it for tone shaping and leveling between guitars (Tele vs. LP).

Cool. Yeah, it's understandable. Love the Analogman stuff though. Just ordered my first Sunface the other day (believe it or not). But I currently have my Peppermint fuzz and Astrotone. Love everything I've heard from him though.

A few small updates: 1. Included a phaser and managed to fit it under the hood 2. Moved my solo boost (Diamond) to be at the end of everything (except Reverb). It's not in the loop switcher but it's accessible enough as it is. 3. Put my fuzz back on the board! Why on earth did I ever think that I'd be happy without it?! 4. Adding the fuzz and phaser meant I had to combine a loop so the AC and the Gold are in the same loop. But since I only ever play one at a time, it's easy enough to switch them off/on.

Made some updates to the small pedalboard. Was having issues with some noise in the board a few months back. Did a little troubleshooting and found out it was the Truetone buffer that I was using. Playing without it for a in the chain for a while. Didn't miss it. So it got the boot. The Browne Amplification Carbon replaces the JHS Morning Glory and the Analogman Peppermint Fuzz has replaced the SUF 74 V3 Ram's Head. Took the Peppermint Fuzz from the large board because I will be putting my new SunFace on there. Really though the fuzz section will probably be an everchanging spot though. Depending on my mood. Other than that, there were no other changes. IMG_20220515_222805__01 by Johnathan, on Flickr

The big board is for my electric. Does stereo, wet/dry, etc The nano+ board is for my acoustic. I can swap either GE7 or Cali for a drive and use it as a small electric board. Acoustic board goes into the effects loop of a Fire-eye red-eye preamp.

I upgraded my power supply* just so that I could add the Timmy to the board. But now I'm tempted to try to squeeze a mini fuzz on the board. I'd likely have to get a smaller-size delay because I don't want anything else flipped horizontally on the top row. *From Truetone CS-6 to Cioks DC-7.

A good replacement for that Brig - if you’re looking for a smaller analog or analog style delay- could be the new delay llama mk. 3 or a carbon copy. And if you get rid of the brig, I know where it could potentially find a new home!

There just might be a PM coming your way about the Brig…

Suggestion for expanding your power supply......GigRig Isolator. Turns one output of your supply into 4 iso outputs. I believe there is a 100ma limit per each of the 4 outputs, so it's perfect for lower ma pedals. As a bonus it's lightweight and very small. Highly recommended!

Oh man I wish I'd known about that earlier today! I decided to go for it and squeeze on another pedal so I ordered a Cioks DC4. Live and learn I guess!

Managed to squeeze a mini fuzz on there! Also swapped out the MXR Analog Chorus for the Providence Anadime (one of my favorites). This is also the first time I've ever labelled power outlets to corresponding pedals and I must admit, it's satisfying.

Here's the latest that has survived the summer schedule. I have another Belle Epoch inbound to replace the faux Tape Echo (who needs tap temp?!?). The GE-7 is primarily used as a lead boost and I'm contemplating replacing the Supa-Trem with a Chase Tone Secret Pre as a buffer after the wah...but suspect I'd miss the trem. No one knows just how long this configuration will last? :-P <edit> Sep 13, 2022 @ 1330 MDT...I thought it'd be better to simply update my photo than create a new post. Here it is...finished and ready for a fall-full-of-gigging! Chain: Teese Picture Wah > Supa-Trem (always in boost mode...stomp on the Hard-Soft swx for trem) > Lightspeed > Analogman TS9 > Analogman GE-7 > Phase 90 > Topanga > Belle Epoch (short) > Belle Epoch (Long) > ST-300. <Update> The first handful of gigs with this layout are complete and outside of learning the new delay controls it really sounds great. Bring on the fall/winter gigs!

Lou, It is a 4 channel snake that Todd (PCNS) made me. The switching box was made by my father. It is used with my Z-Lux. I got a couple of 1/4" female to RCA male adapters for the reverb and tremolo. It works well. The Flynt is on there for the Cure. I need to get some more patch cables from Todd. I ran out! Russell
