I don't know if this thread has been done here yet or not. So post em if you got em. Here's my latest: The blank gray pedal is a fuzz face clone. That's my hot pedal slot,,,I'll trade the fuzz out for a Neo Drive sometimes when my mood changes.

The most stable it's been in a long time. The AM NKT Fuzz (next to the wah) is my hot spot. It may get replaced with a Pro Analog Super Scary Face Fuzz.

This is the most current setup for me (pretty happy with its simplicity, at least for the moment). Waiting on a larger PedalTrain 2 to fit the Budda Wah I ordered and complete the board. BTW, the PedalTrain 2 is now offered with a Soft Case if you're like me and didn't want to spend the additional $90 for a flight case.

The latest incarnation: Not sure if either of those comps is coming off - the Boss comp is actually a Humprehy Audio Atom Smasher modded CS-3 - very quiet and quite nice.

Here's my new homemade "mini" board. It fits in my Anvil Breifcase. The only things I don't have on here is my Wah, and my Rotosphere. I'm gonna add a delay sometime soon, and probably a Sweet Sound Univibe. I'm also looking to swap out the Fulldrive with something but haven't deceided with what yet.

Lefty: I like your board-what kind is it? I've got 5 boss sized pedals and a wah, and want something solid that holds the pedals in place and keeps the cords under control. Appreciate the input.

I got the board made for me by A&S Cases out of Hollywood www.ascase.com/, ask for Jim. I just got the board only, the case is an Angstrom case off of Ebay. The board is 27 7/8"x15 7/8" and all together was less than 100.00 bucks shipped. Very well made!! I warned him he may get more orders. I would recommend checking out Pedaltrain, they make great stuff!!

Well, my board is in a state of change, but here's a snapshot of a few pedals I threw on the board to audition: prowler and travsbluz -- after experiencing a Klon at the recent thegearpage.net pedalfest in Chicago, I have a new appreciation for that pedal... it truly stood to me as a champion among boosts/ods... Great pedal -- there's nothing else out there that does what it does as well as it does it. I now completely feel as though it's well worth the price tag, as well as the pedalboard real estate! Also a funny story -- the one I heard at the pedalfest was scored by it's owner for $99 on a Guitar Center blunder -- they had the pedal marked as a "Kron" -- they didn't even know what it WAS! tonezealot -- dig that Marshall VT-1 man!

It is indeed! It sounds fantastic. For me, it's the be-all, end all boost. If you needed one boost that would work well with any amp, this is it. Some amps prefer Germanium, some amps prefer the cleaner(est) mosfet, and some amps sound best with the Silicon Linear Power Boost which sort of falls right between the Germanium Full-Range and the Mosfet boosts. It's an outstanding pedal with perfect features (for my desires) and fantastic tone! It's an easy build too.

Hey gary i was wondering what you think of the Compressor Retro? I played a boss cs-3 yesterday and didn't like it at all, too obvious and squishy (though many guys like them and get great sounds with them). Is yours more subtle and transparent, because i'd like a compressor occasionally. Have you played a keeley to compare? Thanks Nick
Sorry for the hijack of the thread guys, i'll post my pedalboard pic soon.

Thanks Nick Sorry for the hijack of the thread guys, i'll post my pedalboard pic soon. Nick, I love the Compressor Retro; very transparent, almost noiseless and gives some great hair to your tone if you max it into a clean amp (works great as a boost). I haven't played the Keeley. I hear that's a great pedal. If you get to try them both, I'd love to hear how they stack up. I don't think you can go wrong with either pedal. I do know that the HBE doesn't squish up the tone like a Boss does (just sustains it). Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for. Good luck on your tone quest. Gary

I'm not sure what to think about the Zen Drive. I seem to have a hard time getting it dialed in. I think I like the Keeley TS9 a little better.

I have enjoyed this thread a great deal so I'd like to explain why I have not participated.
* I don't know how to post pics. I know it has been explained but I don't learn stuff so easily anymore. * I don't have a digital camera. I'm sure someone would loan one to me but again there's that learning curve, and * I don't have a pedalboard.
As soon as I meet these challenges I'll jump right in. Thank you.

Does anybody have a suggestion for a relatively inexpensive board that has a case and no need for velcro, or is velcro just the way of the pedalboard world right now?
I need room for: a wah, Strobostomp, a Sweet Sound mojo vibe w/ expression pedal, 2 BSM pedals (Hammond B box), BB Preamp, Diamond Fireburst, a Klon (future purchase), and a Boss CE-2 (maybe to be replaced with a Retro-Sonic Chorus Ensemble) in that order.
I don't need room for a power supply (most have to run on batteries anyway) or any fancy true bypass switching options or whatnot.
Thanks...and cool boards guys!
