Hi all, first post here (came over from the telecater forum).
I'm selling some amps on the big-ol-ebay (and some FX) to get a Dr Z and I've narrowed it down to the Maz jr and Maz sr (with reverb). I'd rather have the jr, but I need an FX loop.. so this will be a deciding factor.
I know the Maz sr does, but does the Maz jr have an FX loop?
Thanks!!

Apparently all the NR (NoReverb) models do. It's a pretty simple loop tho'.

I wonder if this is something that can be done, like an FX loop mod??
I just need a simple series/serial FX loop. If I run a volume pedal in the loop, it doesn't affect the tone and just makes it louder and softer.... if I run it before the amp, it cuts down on the signal going to the preamp and it changes the tone, to more or less preamp drive, as you use the volume pedal. I'm needing a loop to use a volume pedal in for solo boost at the gigs when we don't have a sound man.
Some people tell me that's the wrong way, but it works for me.

Right off the DrZ website under pricing there is an option for an FX loop for $90. I've heard of people sending their DrZ amps back to have the loop installed. Probaly not the most economical choice but he would know your amp inside out and how best to install it.
