Posted this in the tube section but maybe the wrong place . I had this info but lost it . I need to know the function of each pre-amp tube listed V1 through V5 . Also effect on sound of the amp and which tubes are most effected by changing out tubes . I just need this for general tech info . It would be nice if the good Doc included an owners manual with a technical overview with his amps . Thanks !!

from the input end -1st preamp, tone stack, reverb driver, reverb return, phase inverter -power tubes ...... the one probably that effects tone the least would be the phase inverter, the one that effects tone the most would be the 1st preamp.

Here's another trick. Try an Electro Harmonix 12AX7 tube in the Reverb driver socket. The reverb will sound a bit wetter and spongier. More like an old 60's Fender blackface, if you like that sort of reverb.
