I have a MAZ 18 Jr 1x12, and I'm having trouble removing the speaker to install a weber beam blocker. Any suggestions for getting it out safely? -definately being gentle with it right now and it's not budging... Thanks.

I just installed Beam Blockers on my Maz Jr. 2x12. I don't know if yours is different, but all I had to do was turn the amp face down on the floor, grab a phillips head screwdriver and unscrew 4 screws...and the speaker comes right off.
Actually, I only unscrewed 3 screws, the 4th I just loosened. There was no need to pull the screw all the way out. I just tilted the speaker up (pivoting on the 4th loosened screw) and slipped the BB in place. Then reinstall the screws.
Perhaps there was some kind of adhesive or glue of some type in place? Mine did not have anything like that.

Be careful. The seal is sticking to the paint. At least that happened to me. Ge something flat like a puddy knife and work it loose so you don't tear that paper seal around the speaker.

I tore mine but just put it back in the same way it came out. That way the gasket stuck to the baffle matched where it pulled off of the speaker. Sounds fine.

Just put a pair of 12's on my Maz Jr. and Mazerati combos. I really like them. I can't wait to hear them next weekend in the bar. Word of advice to all who are interested in installing them...take your time when removing the speakers...my father-in-law always says "this isn't a race"...good words to live by when working on guitars/amps and electronics. I had no trouble with installing mine. All in all it was an easy task, and the sound is now very 3-D. I recommend it! Enjoy, 6strang

My cousin used a tin foil hat to block beams. It worked on the beams, but he still saw little green men. It certainly wasn't the whole cure

Either that, or to keep the Govt. from reading his thoughts. I run into those people all the time!

One of us is going to have to have the guts to sit down with Ted Weber and have a long talk with that boy....
