If you want to sound like Brad you may have to borrow his hands. I would say a ghia with a blue will be your best bet. Although the jr is more versatile to me for other styles. Don't let the low wattage fool you. These amps will still piss off the neighbors three houses down.

If you're going to have multiple amps someday a Ghia would be a good start. If you're thinking you might be gigging the amp then go for the Maz 18. The extra tone shaping capability would be useful on a gig. I think the Ghia is a great amp for home use and recording and the occasional coffee shop kind of gig. I feel like everyone needs a Ghia and then add the others. By the way, a Ghia sounds very similar to a Stang Ray except for the obvious differences.

The MAZ-Jr will absolutely get you very very close. (Click the sound clicks on my sig - I've got some paisley type stuff there)
The only way to be right on is to be him, and that's not possible.

I honestly can't remember - but since I very seldom tweak my amp, it's probably roughly like this..
Volume: 75% Treble: 28% Mid: 15% Bass: 50% Master: 30% Cut: 100%
Those are the setting on my MAZ that I usually use.
I do prefer playing with a slightly more compressed sound that he has, so, yes I have a compressor in line, which is what you're hearing.
But you don't want to sound exactly like him, do you?

i do want to get his tone not sound exactly like him. once i get to the ponit of where its close to him then i will make my own adjustments from there. like you adding more comp.
