I used my Z-28 MKII combo last night and it really performed. I know I’m a fanboy, but would it be too much to say that the sound coming from it sounds 3-D?

In context, I didn't realize how large the cab was. Looks like it really does fill a sound stage!!! Mine arrives this week. Now to relearn all my gain pedals LOL!

It really is a great amp. I’ve been playing it more comparing it to my new x-ray, playing both with a Celestion alnico cream, and it just sounds phenomenal. Of course the x ray does too. Z has had some incredible designs out the past couple years. I think these two will be staples in the line up.

It is close to the Z Coverible Cabs, but slightly taller and made of different wood. If you love a combo it is a Phenomenal Cab. My Z12 lives in the MKII Cabinet, just saying.

Very 3 dimensional! I used mine yesterday at church. I ran the chase tone fuzz fella into a tchula into the Vemuram Shanks ODS-1 with my purple Hendrix Strat and had one of the best tones ever. It’s the fattest sounding amp I have played in the Z line. It’s just perfect. I get compliments every time I play through it. Somebody told me it sounded like your guitar was on fire. It was it was the Holy Ghost not me. To God be all the Glory! 11 surgery’s on both my hands. Dealing with pain but still praising my way through it. God Is good! And the Z28 Mk11 has been nothing but a huge blessing to me!

3-D describes it perfectly. My production MKII lives at church now and it shines at any volume. Every guitar sounds like it should; Strats are Stratty and LPs are huge. My Duesenberg Joe Walsh Alliance is really great with it. And it loves drive pedals too...it truly is a blessing! It's still my favorite Z amp.

This amp has really blown me away each time I play it. It truly is special and so usable now with a great master volume. I have my amp in a back room mic’d up with the master volume set to where it is breathing nicely when playing at church. The sounds In my in-ears are perfect. I really love how the alnico cream is breaking in with this amp and I will be keeping it there. My scumback j75 resides happily in my Carr original mercury. Together these two amps sound impeccable.
Great work doc!

Not only does this amp just sound incredible, but it looks so darn cool on stage too.
