Howdy,
Does the Cure have Post Phase-Inverter MV?

Yes, that's exactly what the level control is and it's fantastic. The Cure is a wonderful amp all the way around.

"Master" is pre phase inverter, "Level" is post. Gives a lot of control over the texture of the distortion.

very cool amp. My son owns one and does everything under the sun with it, music wise It's also loud for its rated wattage and is a great grab and go too. Tone bypass is really fun too!! Todd

"Master" is pre phase inverter, "Level" is post. Gives a lot of control over the texture of the distortion. It's a great setup! Very educational- you can experiment with the differences in sound and drive between the pre-phase inverter and post-phase inverter masters with the Cure. The footswitchable, adjustable tone stack bypass actually works differently depending on how you have the amp's Volume, Master, and Level set- -Set the Volume and Master low with the Level higher for a clean sound and the footswitch acts like a boost, making the amp louder. -Set the Volume and Master higher with the Level lower to keep overall volume down for a gritty sound and the footswitch makes the amp dirtier (that's is how I use my Cure- Volume at about 11:00, Master at about 3:00, Level as required, Footswitch at about 11:00).

I had made the suggestion before the Z28MKII came out that it should be call a level control instead of a Master Volume. For Players that love Non Master Volume Amps like myself it would have made perfect sense. If you take a V1 and V2 Z28 and put them Side by Side use the same settings and then bring the MV down or up its sounds just a close to the V1 as you can get.
