Snowy evening at a local bar pre-COVID. Audience member's cell phone video, so quality is not great. Amp is, as I recall, a Z-Plus. (Audio is OK if you use headphones or have quality speakers connected.)

My Z Journey - Sorry for the many posts, but they are all different Z’s. Missing in action is my Antidote and Carmen Ghia. How did you keep the singer so long you ask? Marry her.
My first was a Maz 18 2x10
A RT66 through a Z-Best
My Z-Plus hiding next to the following bands Vox. You can see it look closely.
And of course My Therapy through a Z convertible 1x12 w/ Heritage 535

Therapy with UK V30. I'm playing the ES-335.
Maz Jr MkI with Z12. I'm playing the PRS SC58.

This was done by an Ohio U. video student as part of a class project. Guessing he didn't get an A, as the sound recording leaves something to be desired. The guitar is a late 90s PRS CE 24. The amp is most likely a Therapy and probably with an SRZ 65 both on. I used that combo at that bar a lot during that time. From the amount of hair present on us band members, I'm thinking 7ish years ago.

Hey this is a cool thread. I have both a Maz 18 Jr. and a recently acquired a Z-Lux. Here is a live take from about a year ago with the Maz 18. I filled in with this band here in town locally. I'm the long haired guy with the Les Paul. The singer (Dave) also is playing a Maz Jr as well with a PRS. I missed a couple notes here but hey.. ITS ROCK AND ROLL!

Two from my old country band.
Nice video from a good venue. It's cool in that they have a large garage door closed in front of the band, and when it's time to play, they open the garage door...pretty cool. I'm playing the 1x10 Ghia w gold. I'm the guy with the white hat and the tele.
Next video is a place called the "Bluestone" it's a converted church of some sort. We opened up for a touring group. (never heard of them) It was a nice stage and a pretty cool venue. I'm playing a Stangray w a 1x12 creamback M. I also had a plexi/plastic shield in front of the amp. It was great...it bounced the sound up and I could hear myself really well.

Wow John. That was a good band. Thanks for posting.
Thanks. Drummer and bass were both good and locked in tight and I just layered on top of them. Bass player died about 6 weeks ago. I've reconnected with the drummer and hopefully he'll be coming to some of my acoustic gigs this summer. It will be nice to catch up. I've chatted with the rhythm guitar player over the years, ex Marine and currently a tech/security guy. The singer is a different story, he's a difficult guy. Ego driven and thought we were 'replaceable musicians'. He soon found out that was not the case. After I left, the drummer soon left...then the rhythm guitar left. Our replacements just didn't have the same groove/ability. I did a sub gig for him and the singer's wife came over during the first break and 1/2 joking and 1/2 serious said "See what you did to us?" (referring to how bad the band sounded.) I haven't been called to sub in several years. If he does call, I'm going to tell him it's been years since I've played those songs and I don't remember them.

Sorry to hear the bass player passed away. I'm not sure I've ever met a front man who didn't think he was the center of the universe to some extent. Too bad it fell apart. That was a tight band.

I figured I'd share another here. This one I'm playing my Maz Jr (non mkii) through a Z back line 2x12 with 70th anniversary G12-H30s. R7 Gold Top with Mythos Humbuckers. LPD Eighty7 Plus with the BMF wah for the solo. We took a live cut and had it mixed and mastered of a new song we wrote last summer. Hope you like it.
Side note- the singer is also playing a Maz 18 mki through a 2x12 with the same speakers. LPD Dutch 2 on his board. LPD Pedals and Dr. Z is a lovely match FWIW!

Nice video visualguy. That's a full on professional quality music video. Great tone, great mixing. Nice job.
Do you ever watch RJ Ronquillo videos ? He rocks the Mythos and LPD stuff quite a bit.

Hey thank you! Yes, we had a full on multitrack going of the whole show and I cut the video 3 angles. it was a PIA setting all that up and hoping it worked for the show but somehow it did. Oh yes, I love RJ's demonstrations and he does a great job presenting gear. LPD basically hires him for every release b/c he does such a great job playing to the circuit. Monster guitarist and seems like a super cool guy.

Station Wagon - written by Steve Munger, the tenor sax player in the video. this was on the last birthday he celebrated while he was alive. he passed 7 months later in December 2011. Our last gig with him was Halloween.
the drummer is one of best local guys and he will be playing with my new band. excited about that. the bari takes a nice solo as does the talented guy on the bass who also plays guitar, piano and sings.
i'd just re-joined the band and i'd just bought my 1x12 ghia combo. the guitar gets a quacky autho-wah solo at the end. i think i was using the amp up around 1/2 way on the volume and i probably had a Brake-lite in there to keep the volume down. now i prefer to use the amp without the brake-lite and rely on pedals for more dirt in lower volume situations.
happy Friday.
