I "almost owned" a 1976 Explorer until I opened the shipping box and found the headstock snapped off - no way to fix this one! I sent it back.

That is a bummer, I have had a few headstock break guitars and to be honest a couple of them sounded even better after the repair. I think this one is going to be a keeper, but I won’t know until it’s setup correctly. If he pulls it through the Hot T Pickups will come out and a 90’s Classic 57 is going in the neck and a Duncan Custom Custom is going in the Bridge.
