Just got my completed Tele build from Ken Lesko at Rainbow Guitar Repair. He did a great job putting it together and making it work. When I bought all the parts, I couldn't be sure that it would sound any good, but I knew it would look pretty good. Turns out it sounds good, so that's a relief. Body built by Joe Brunetti - Walnut, with binding - this is the first thing I bought, and the reason I had this built - because it looks so great Neck - a Warmoth conversion neck, so the scale is 24.75"; thin profile Pups - DiMarzio DP421BK Area Hot T (bridge); DiMarzio DP417G Area T (neck) Bigsby (American made) All gold hardware Locking tuners kc

Beautiful instrument! Give us more details after you gig with it a few times! Thanks. I played it at a gig last weekend and also last night. It's staying in tune really well. I've always been a bridge pickup guy, so I've stuck with it when playing this guitar too - the Area Hot T gives it a bit more meaty sound than a 'regular' single coil (if such a thing exists). The guitar weighs almost nothing, that's one reason I had a Bigsby installed, it's adding a bit of weight to the body. And I'm enjoying having a Bigsby, never had one before. It's certain that I'll be a Bigsby over-user for at least the next few months. I took a gamble when I bought a thin profile neck, but I'm getting used to it. When I picked up my Les Paul the other day (that has a 60's neck), its neck suddenly felt pretty big. kc

It’s stone cold beautiful! No Tele prettier than natural wood IMO. And the binding kicks it up a notch. I have one Ron Kirn made me out of old reclaimed cypress but for me it’s almost too heavy to enjoy. I’ll bet even with the Bigsby the thinline body keeps the weight on yours reasonable. Enjoy it!

I know he doesn't come around much anymore, but I'd bet that Harvey would do a double take looking at these two beauties!

KC that’s a beauty, and if Ken Lesko did it I know it’s built and set up to perfection. Play it in good health!
