I've listened to the perryr clips with a Strat and they sound great. I've also heard the Jetta describe as "thick". Wondering, in the room, does the Jetta have thickness in the highs? Perhaps round like that would benefit a fairly low output Strat, for example. Or is the thickness more of a low-mid thing?

The Jetta is absolutely one of the best amps ever produced. It's got a huge sound and loves all pedals if you want to go that route. I once thought about selling my Jetta head, but quickly came to my senses.

Jetta does have weight to the notes, similar to the way a tweed Deluxe does. It is a round tone with a sparkle. Low input volume settings yield the most sparkle, as you turn up the input (and lower the master) the highs get meatier. The tone control really drives upper mids so if you wanna thicken up your higher notes, the Jetta does that nicely! BTW my pups in those clips are vintage wind, measuring 5.56, 5.93, 6.01

Im really digging my Nova right now!

One of , if not Doc’s best masterpiece! I totally agree Rick. But they don't sell . Need to re-evaluate that model. Maybe remove the metro loop and lower the list price as really isn't needed. It sold like hot cakes at its low introductory price. Z

I paid the lower intro price, however after about a month, it clear trumped any amp I have and or played! I feel it’s hard to convey its true juicy organic appeal, for those buying online. And I would assume online sales have become possibly the largest audience and buying sector these days. My humble observation anyway.
