I am astonished at the build quality setup playability. bought straight from fender in arizona with 50$ off. cant find a thing wrong with. stays in tune forever. cant believe it i have a really good ear and am annoyed with one string slightly off but thus one is perfect stock. always had trouble with trems but not this came with 11s anyone try lighter guage on jaazmasters without spending 2 to 4 hundred bucks on a mastery bridge or whatever. pups are great also. about 8 pounds.

I've got a Squire Jazzmaster, built in Indonesia. Right now it's got 8's on it and it works fine. And I agree about the quality of these inexpensive guitars, it's amazing what they're doing.

hi dave, yes I did hear that. They stopped making these in China and went to Indonesia, so maybe I was mistaken if you're using eights are you using the stock bridge? Just curious.
