I’m new to the Ghia and love it. It’s been around for a long time and wondering what if any changes have been made over the years with regard to design and manufacturing. For example have the same transformers been used or changed? BTW I love the Catlinbread Topanga reverb with it.

I don’t know of any design changes other than the MV on the new ones and the transformers and chassis are different than the original Hammond ao35 amps that were used. I have a home made ao35 version with a new Hammond 18 watt output tranny and it’s the best sounding all around amp I own. It’s a brilliant design. I run it through a 50 watt 12” Weber Blue Dog. The Hummanoid Entity overdrive pedal is fantastic with it. Every type of pickup out there sounds great with the Ghia. It’ll do whatever you want EXTREMELY well with the right guitar and pedals. Simple awesome amp.
