Nice rig, and compact too! How are you running them?

Nice rig, and compact too! How are you running them? I just ran them individually through a Radial Twin Cities ABY. I used the 335 with the Ghia most of the night. The Z-28 was just my backup amp tonight since I was trying to get used to the new Ghia.

I have mainly been playing my Strat and Tele recently and have only had the LP out a couple of times since I got the Ghia. I love my Twin City. I have the Z-28 MK2 as a head and find that it pairs really well with my Ghia, actually I think they sound amazing together. I usually run the Z-28 through my Dr Z 2x12 with a pair of creambacks.

Z-28/Ghia and 335/P90 Tele: a couple of classic combinations!
If you can’t get it done with that outfit well, you probably can’t get it done!

Due to operator error, it took me most of the set to get the Ghia controls positioned correctly. By the end of the set, I had the nicest “edge of break up” tone and unreal sustain with the 335. Note: I had just watched a video on Five Watt World called “Are 335’s the Most Versatile Guitars?”, so I was motivated to play the 335.

My take is you can't really beat a tele or strat cover anything. But none of those, including the 335 sound like a les Paul either, so there's that. Not even sure why I posted here, but I was just kind of calling BS on that video based on the title.

The interview subject, Adam Levy, is knowledgeable and insightful. Like me, his first guitar was a 335. Unlike me, he still has his. But that’s another story.
