So I had purchased a cure in 2021 (6l6/6v6? version) but like an idiot I sold it in November last year , I was playing with a very loud drummer at the time and the cure wasn't cutting it, I wanted to keep it but moved it on , I contemplated getting either a Jetta or nova both of which weren't available at the time (I'm in the Uk new Dr z amps come over a few times a year) anyway I bought a marshall DSL40CR and was never completely happy it's an incredibly trebly amp, today I got a newer tubed version of the CURE again and my gosh I forgot how much I love this amp, I had really missed it. Right now the love of it has been rekindled and I couldn't be happier again

My Cure has been my main gig amp since I bought it the first year of production. If you need more headroom from yours, check into what speaker you're running. I use an Emi Lil Texas Neo which shaves a little weight and is very efficient......plus it sounds a lot like the original Emi Z speaker Doc uses (IMO).
Welcome to the forum!!

My friend bought a Cure and traded it in at Moze Guitars in La mesa ca. I keep telling him he should have kept it.
