Look what I found!
This picture with Z and Walter Becker is fun too. They are standing in front of an Antidote with both volumes dimed. Who knew!

That's a great post, thanks Adam.
I saw on your pedal board you've got a SF300 Fuzz. It's kinda hard to tell but are you running it in the so-called "Secret Mode" with the Mode switch set between Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2? That's my favorite way to run this Fuzz. I'm thinking about opening it up and seeing if I can add a switch in so it's more reliable in that "In-Between" mode.

I’m really enjoying my 35th Anniversary Ghia. I was demonstrating Clapton’s Woman Tone to someone. I thought I would need a pedal, but the Ghia PPIMV nailed it.

What an amazingly cool video. Thanks for giving us a bit of Z history Doc. Hope to see more chapters in the Chronicles of Z. And thanks for posting that Adam. Great video.

This was a well spent 19 minutes of history and "feel good" moments! I am very proud to have owned but a handfull of the amps the Doc has built, but even the 2 I have left fit my playing style, tone, and any venue I might encounter. Thank you Doc for your genius!

Try putting the gain about 1/2 way and hit it with a tube screamer and it turns into something really cool. If found the same kind of thing with happens with a treble booster (analog man beano) where you hit it pretty hard with something in front of it and it goes from uninspiring to something really cool. I didn't know about the secret mode, I'll try that next time I pull it out. Example here, through the Ghia, the over the top fuzz is the tube screamer into the fuzz, then for a second around 15 seconds in, I turn off the tube screamer and it's just the fuzz and it sounds wimpy. Then I get them both going again a little bit after.
