Did a show Friday night with a friend and fellow Z-Forumite (great player!!).
He ran a stock Jr 210 and I ran a stock Jr 212.
One of the most fun gigs I've done in a while. Nothing but great guitar tones floating off the stage...well, SCREAMING off the stage may be a better description - definately a blow-and-go gig.
House band had more than a few kind words about the Z's.
Amazing how much sonic space those little 18 watt amps can fill. ;- )

Hey, great stuff. Wish i could have been there to check it out. Been dying to sit back and hear somebody gig a Maz in a live setting, but two Jr's is too sweet. How did the 2x12s fit with the 2x10s, much of a sonic difference? I have got to get mine out of the house soon! Haven't jammed it yet in a full band setting.
I totally agree about how amazingly these little amps fill up the sonic void. Very large sound indeed.

The 2 amps really complimented each other nicely. The 210 had a warmer, more compressed/focused tone while the 212 seemed a bit...maybe open or full-range (not really emphasizing any particular area) would be a better descriptor. THe 2 Jr's really blended SOOooo nicely together - same "color" but different enough to be distinguishable from one another. It was very nice.
Settings were very similar with the exception of the Master Volume.
We had pulled all our Z's along for a full-on Z gig (JC: Maz Sr+Jr, DW: R66+Jr) but neither the venue or stage were large enough to accomodate. Bummer...maybe during the Fan Fare shows. ;- )

Well, the stage may have been small, but at least the sound system sucked.... J Yeah, the stage may have been small and the sound system may have sucked, but at least with those monitors no one could hear anything but feedback. Oh yeah, and karma to you for 'parts' time.
