From Mike's Facebook page: "Hey everyone, as you know I closed down operations in CA last October, moving Fulltone to the Nashville area. I’m going to be offering up for sale some of the final pedals built in the CA shop soon, there’s not many, more info to come. You can also expect to see some new Fulltone products in the stores in the near future, more info soon."

I have an early version OCD that is still in action.

His 1st generation Fulldrive II was the first Boutique pedal I ever bought back in the late 90's, and it stayed with me for at least 10 years. My son has it now and still uses it. I also had the Fatboost, OCD, Choralflange, and still have my Clyde Wah. His stuff was built solid, but his customer interaction could be, well, very harsh? His review of Doc's Route 66 was what directed me toward Dr Z Amplification. It will be interesting to see what he has to offer now!

I saw his message on FB as well. I have several Fulltone Pedals. A Fulldrive 2, Fulldrive 2 FM, Clyde, and the first generation Fat Boost (he got in trouble over it). I wonder if he thinks he can make a splash in the Nashville market since so many California musicians have moved there? Or, maybe it just makes sense for a small business to move to a booming area? I don’t know, but he’ll have to NOT a jerk in Nashville. lol

I have a late '90s big box '69 Pedal that's been my favorite pedal for over 20 years! It used to be the only drive pedal on my board. I set the fuzz to max and go from clean to OD to fuzz with the guitar's volume control and picking dynamics.

I've also had several FT pedals: Fulldrive 2, OCD, Choralflange, Dejavibe and several Plimsoul's. There may have been others, but I can't remember. I don't have a single one left in the stash though.
From what I've heard, I'm lucky I never had to deal with Mike.....all of my FT pedals worked as intended.

I have had to deal with him and all I can say is he would be better off just making pedals and having someone else handle his customer service. I moved on from fulltone as well. I am a firm believer in treating others the way you want to be treated.

He’ll have to change his ways in Nashville. The folks there won’t put up with it.

Back in 2001 I had a one year old FD2 (which remained on my board for over 20 years) that the switch went bad. I emailed Mike on a Sunday not expecting any response for a while as he had a reputation even back then. Well, I was on my lap top for a while and low and behold he responded. No BS, no attitude, just wanted to know what was going on with my pedal. Bad switch was determined to be the problem and he said he had a bad batch of them so he was confident that was the problem. He said he could send me a switch or I could send it back for him to repair. I decided to send it to him. He fixed it and returned it to me in less than a week. I know a lot of folks complain about his custom service, but my experience was great.

I need some new Clyde feet and that was a good experience. I emailed him a question about the Fulldrive 2, and he was an A$$ about it.

I had to give proof of purchase, and after I gave him that he demanded a picture of the pedal, showing the missing feet.

I don’t own any Fulltone pedals. But after dealing with really nice pedal makers like Mike Piera at AnalogMan and Adrian Thorpe of ThorpyFX, and hearing folks comments about Fulltone,, I’m glad I don’t.

I recently had a Jam pedals whacko wha that broke on me. I had it for about a year. I e-mailed them and told them the problem they sent me a return shipping label to ship the damaged wah to a location in New York. They are in Athens Greece. They shipped me a brand new Whacko Wah in 3 days from Greece! Plus the Whacko wha smokes the fulltone! It's way better!!! Best Wha I ever owned!

Outside of making fantastic pedals, those people are some of the greatest people to deal with. Whenever I’m hankering for something new I always check there first. That Wahcko is on my very very very short list!
