It's such a dynamic amp. After the Z Wreck, he played the Friedman and then wanted to go right back to the Wreck.

I love videos like this and I think you can learn a lot more about gear than just a normal demo video. Like we aren't hearing the mic'd sound, just whatever is coming through the monitors through the lav or camera mics, but that general amount of grind to a pretty pristine clean without moving a knob is extremely telling. Their reactions are really telling and important too. There's some spots early in the demo where they just talk about it and say it something special. There's a lot of weight in that too.
Aside from that, they sort of go through a million pieces of gear and just explain where that piece of gear is working for them, and where it doesn't. Tons of great insight there too. The bass rig was really interesting to me too, like combining the full on svt in an 8x10 with a Marshall 800 into a 15" speakers, which mics are used for that, etc. Then soloing that core sound at the end was just so informative. Even the part about we have a $150k console, but if we can't recall it, we can't use it. Lots of great info in this whole video, it's just really really long.
And yeah, my Friedman has some of the characteristics of the one they played. Doesn't mean it's bad or whatever, but those characteristic were pretty obvious. I bet you heard some of that in your JJ too.
