I would roll a good Pre-amp tube through V1, V2, V3 & V4. Do it one at a time so you know where it makes a difference.

After what Purpletele suggested, change out the power tubes. I have to say, the "Yet Another" in the title is a bit extreme when you compare the number of times this happens to the number of Maz amps out there. To me it sort of implys that this happens to Mazs more than other amps, which I'm pretty sure isn't true.

Only had it happen once. Same symptoms. Replaced the rectifier and all was good.

Try plugging into another speaker/cabinet. If that doesn't work, plug in a guitar cable to the amp, turn up the amp and then plug in the guitar, you should hear something. If still nothing, it may be a tube. I would try pre-amp tubes first, then power tubes.

I would consider changing the title of the post if you want help. Take out the “yet another”. Realize you might be frustrated, but it’s likely yet another tube issue.

This right here would sure be a good start. But before posting anything wouldn’t it be a good idea to go through the doc’s troubleshooting protocol? I’ve never had to do it myself but I’d bet the percentage of problems it solves borders on the majority.

Rule #1: You don't come on to Dr. Z's own forum and start a post like that. It's basically implying that the Maz series is a piece of crap that always, yet again, breaks down. That isn't true. And it isn't fair. I'm surprised the Doc himself hasn't chimed in.
But I'm sure that wasn't your intention and you're just frustrated. So follow the advice here and you'll be back up to playing your Maz in no time.

Seems like 99% of tube amp problems are … tubes (especially with Doc’s amps where the build is so good and straightforward). Yet many people skip over that and start worrying about other things.
Maybe there should be a sticky post at the top of the forum that says before doing anything else, check your tubes one at time with a known good set (and oh, btw, be sure to buy a complete spare set to have on hand).
This seems especially true for used amps where the age and pedigree of the installed tubes is always questionable.
If it’s not the tubes, then more complicated items can be examined.

This happened to an EZG-50 I had. The problem was the rectifier tube went bad. Replaced it and no problems the rest of the time I owned the amp.

This is a paraphrase of something someone else told me a long time ago that relates to this tube discussion. When the light goes out in your lamp, you don't immediately suspect the wiring in your house and the quality of the build and then start seeking out an electrician. You start with the most fragile thing in the system, the bulb, and work from there. A tube is kind of like a fancy light bulb. It's going to blow sooner or later.

Looking at your post history, it seems you have had problems in the past, posted them on the forum, then never updated anyone as to what the issue was and/or what solved it. In the past was it issues with fuses/tubes/the amp itself? Staff and forum members have posted the troubleshooting guide on other threads, and there was no follow up. Without having any more knowledge as to the history of the issues, and knowing the solutions you came up with prior to this latest post, and your general inability to follow up, how are we expected to help you? Did you buy the amp used? What is the serial number? What is the history? It seems you said the amp was once with us at the shop for repairs. Did you send it in at that point or did a previous owner have it sent in? When the light goes out in your lamp, you don't immediately suspect the wiring in your house and the quality of the build and then start seeking out an electrician. Love this quote, by the way. 90% of all issues are tube related.

Geez guys I was only scrolling thru related post and noticed there were quite a few with the title of “no sound”. I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic as I’ve been a loyal DR supporter since 04. Just looking for answers as I usually do on here when I have a problem.

Just looking for answers as I usually do on here when I have a problem. It would go a long way towards opening up communication if you change the title of this thread. Doesn't sound much like a "loyal supporter" to me.
It also goes a long, long way to take a second and say, "Thank you".
