Are these a good match? My Telecaster fits the Z-Plus perfectly, just love the pair! I've never had an ES-335 type of guitar, it might be time. I am hoping the Z-Plus is likely a good match. What do you think?

I don’t think I’ve had an amp that my 335 did not sound good with. When I cannot get a tone that I like I go to the 335. I call it “the fixer”. But that said, it’s really what you play.

I’m sure it would be. It is great with every guitar I play through it - a Strat, a Tele, and a McCarty 594. My favorite with it is the McCarty, and I think the pickups would likely be close to a 335. It’s an all around fantastic amp.

It is one that I think about often. Right now my Lux fills that spot. If not for the Lux the Plus would be the one.

I’m playing a Heritage 535 through my Z-Plus and I think it’s sounds great. It has Seth Lovers in it.

I'm glad the opinion is it should work out well. It's going to take some creativity to fund this Gibson, they're not cheap! I would rather not have to buy an amplifier too! Plus I don't have the background with electric guitars to go after this guitar right away, I have a lot of research to do first. Knowing the Z-Plus is probably going to sound just fine, gives my mind a rest! I won't need to research an amp and a guitar! The Z-Plus is perfect for my Telecaster, I was hoping it would be perfect for a es-335 too. Thanks for the help everyone, I knew I could count on you. Hopefully one day I'll be able pay it forward.
