I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Wampler Paisley Drive deluxe. Looking forward to it. I have had a couple of Paisleys in the past and foolishly traded both. Needed a fix...should be here next week. Will report once I get a chance to mess with it.

I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about this pedal. I’ve had my eye on it for quite a while too.

The Paisley arrived...I have been jamming at low volume through my little Fender Princeton for about a half hour or so...it's a sweet pedal for sure. Lots and lots of gain on tap...lots of volume too! I can only imagine what it's like at gig levels....haha...I then plugged it into my Maz Jr briefly, almost melted the snow outside! Will have to wait for a time when I can turn it up a bit to really see what it's like. So far, I am very happy... It will be fun to play with it mroe over the holiday and get a feel for it. If I get the nerve, I will post a clip.

I learned the hard way to never judge a pedal until I can hear it with the amp at gig level. Let us know how it fares in further testing!

I have a Regular Paisley (2nd version I think) and the Deluxe. You loose some of the flexibility in the deluxe as far as the Paisley, but the ODR-S side is killer. I have a love hate with the Paisley Deluxe. Used the regular pedal for years with a Strat and a Freidman SB50 or a Swart AST Pro. Lots of Gigs. The ORD-S works killer with the Wreck Jr, but I can't get the high end right with the Paisley side. The regular Paisley has more options as far as Mid and Highs. It's a super useful pedal as far as having 2 solid flavors and running both on is pretty chewy! I agree about the gig volume this as well.
