Can I use a 4ohm extension cab if I have an 8 ohm speaker in my Maz combo at the same time. if so, would it be parallel or series and what Ohm tap would I use?
Thanks!

You can do it. It would have to be series which will give you 12 ohms. Stick it in the 8 ohm tap and you should be good.

Don't quote me as I will deny this . I have plugged an 8 ohm internal speaker into the 8 ohm tap, and an external 4 ohm load into the 4 ohm tap with no issues. But I don't advise it for a long term usage. Internal and external loads should be the same impedance , and connected via a Y cable ( plug for Todd ).
