My Z-Plus started to hum. Pulled the rectifier, NO HUM, good, replaced the rectifier and pulled V2 and it was labeled JJ ECC83. My label lists that location as, 12AX7. So I pulled tubes one by one. This is what I found:
My Z-Plus: V1: Tung Sol 12AX7 / V2: JJ ECC 83 / V3: JJ ECC81 / V4: Tung Sol 12AX7 / V5: JJ ECC83 / V6: JJ6V6 / V7: JJ6V6 V8: Shu Guang 5AR4
Factory List For Z-Plus: V1: 12AX7 / V2: 12AX7 / V3: 12AT7 / V4: 12AX7 / V5: 12AX7 / V6: 6V6. / V7: 6V6 / V8: 5AR4
1. Was this a possible Covid Erra substitution, due to tube availability?
2. Should I go back to the Factory Spec. as I replace tubes-, (I will have to replace a pre amp tube I think).
3. Is my situation with my existing tube line-up, bad?
Manufacturing Date February 2020. Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I am a newbie, this is my first and only amp!

Hi Steamroller.
I see you've been around for a bit, but a belated welcome to the forum.
Short answer: You have the factory tubes in your amp. It doesn't look like there has been any substitutions.
If you go to the Dr. Z website (Dr. Z Amps.com link at top of page) and click on the Support tab > Tube and Bias Info, and scroll down to the Z-Plus tube and fuse specs, you'll see that the factory tube list matches what is in your amp exactly.
Cheers DC
