Got my Z-28 Mk II combo the other day and yesterday took it to our big man cave - 150 square meters, 4 meters high etc. With my poor English I can't describe how extraordinary great it is. I've had Two Rock, Matchless, Benson & 2 Dr Z amps (Z Lux, Maz 18), Vox HW, Deluxe Reverb HW, Mesa Boogie Lone Star, Bad Cat Cub III etc. but this stands out big time! Just read for example the review by PremiumPlus at TheGearPage. Very open - really 3D -, very articulate but warm in a good way, loves pedals & pedals worship it. The Post-Phase Inverter Master Volume is easily the best master volume / attenuator I've ever witnessed- just phenomenal. Most of time played the volume on 11 / 11.30 and the master on two or three o'clock. The amp reacts very sensitively to my two strats different pick ups (Twangbanger, Alnico II Pros and Lollar Dirty Blonde) and my Kauer Korona's Lollar J-Street - the tones differ more than ever! My drives are Greer Lightspeed, J Rocket El Hombre, Okko Holy Gritt, KittycasterFX Groovy Wizard fuzzdrive - the interaction between them and the 3 guitars & the Z-28 MK II was more audible than ever. Really wish I had ES-335 - have an intuition they'd bond perfectly. My affair & journey with this Z amp is only beginning but couldn't feel more happy at the moment. A huge thank you & hats off to Dr Z from Helsinki, Finland.

Nice review! I must say, the man cave sounds impressive, very large. Perfect space to open up a Z28 MKII and experience what it can do.

It's fantastic to gig with too. I've done three shows with mine so far and I won't be taking a different amp out for some time, that's for sure! Enjoy your amp, it's very special.

I played mine in my 24ft X24ft garage (very tall ceilings) and the room sound was out of this world good. In my small dead sounding practice studio it still sounds good but in an open room OMG! Good thing its still cold here in the northeast or I would still be playing
