Born 12/12/12, and purchased by me this weekend. I am the first owner! It sat unsold for 10 years. I bought an even older Monza head a few months ago from the same shop. Both are just awesome gigging amps. imgur.com/xGzlJ9h

I considered bringing my Ironman Mini be able to turn it up, but was lazy. I can play pretty clean for this band. I did plug my old Boss SD-1 in for the last set to add some grit but then you're not hearing the amp do it's thing. The Monza actually can get gritty at lower volume because of the higher gain structure. In the end, the Z-28 sounds great because it's red. The reality is it's hard to hear the EF-86 in a band context. Of course if the amp feels good to play, my performance will be better.

I thought I had bought the last unsold Z-28 last February. Mine is a 2-10 combo, made in 2011. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine.
