They're gonna sell 100k of those things. Analog Mike seems like a cool guy that knows his stuff and loves what he does. Good for him. I appreciate the honesty and staying small and controlling quality. A lot like the Doc!

I think that is fantastic!
I bet they sell a bunch. I'm finally getting my KOT figured out where I really like it. It was questionable for a few months as to its worth, to me.

I have two Prince of Tone pedals- one for my board, and one that I keep loose for practicing and jams, and think these will sell very well. I bought my first PoT (a particularly great sounding one) years ago at a guitar show for $90 and bought the other one new from Analogman- that took several Wednesdays of trying. It'll be great to see these pedals being readily available.

I've been on the KOT waiting list for several years. Quite a while back I ordered a "King of Clone" by 68 Pedals, and try as I did I couldn't really figure it out. What's the secret sauce, Brian? How do you set yours up?
I'm due to get the KOT early next year, and it'll be real interesting to compare the two.

Great to hear - love Analogman's products and approach, have several of their great pedals: Chorus, Boost, Fuzz, and both the KoT and PoT. The DoT will be ideal for the small travel board I guess. There is a video of Jack from Peach who demos the pedal though a Maz 18:

Both sides are set like this: Volume noon, Gain 2 o'clock, Tone 10 o'clock. I use it as my primary lead tone. Mine have both sides as "high gain" from the factory.

In stock at $99 a piece? Yeah, they’ll sell. Where did you see that? Sweetwater has them listed for $150. Not in stock yet though. I am on the list for when they get them.

If you really want to go back in time, there is always this one! My stepmom worked for Sears & Roebuck in the 60's and I always loved seeing this amp, the Twin Twelve, in the catalog. I never heard one though!

I'm due to get the KOT early next year, and it'll be real interesting to compare the two. I took Lou's advice and use both sides engaged but I juice it up with a Wampler clean boost set very low. I am certain that the KOT comes alive in a Live Band situation and there is some juice flowing through the cables, but I haven't had that opportunity yet, other than some jam sessions. BV

I had one back in the late 60’s for a couple years. Not sure what happened to it. Probably traded along the way. I was too young to appreciate it at that time. An acquaintance was playing through one about a year ago. I certainly didn’t remember mine sounding as good as his did. Gotta wonder what the pedal sounds like; my old one or my friend’s from a year back.

Sure, it'll sell. The market is totally saturated with overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedals though, isn't it? There sure are a LOT of used ones on Reverb, Ebay, etc. ....

My DOT arrived today. I did an a/b against a POT. I had to set the knobbies slightly different, but I got the 2 so close that, in a band situation, I don't think I'll know the difference.

Got mine a couple days ago…I really like it. I did adjust the internal treble up a bit. Right now I have it on distortion. Pretty happy with my Tumnus deluxe for OD. Boost is good on it as well.
