Gentlemen your thoughts on this one. Looking for some nice srv tone through my cure.

I can't speak to this pedal, but I have a Wampler Belle that is suppose to be based on the Nobels' circuit and it does a great job on SRV style blues. So, I'm sure the Nobels would too.

A little off topic, but on the SRV thing maybe, picked up one of those new Origin Effects green tube screamer thing (Halcyon?) and I think it sounds and feels great. That was with a strat into a MAZ38NR with a 1x12 gold, which btw whenever I do that I just don't think it really gets any better than that. Later tried the strat with the EMS and that was a winner too, both on JTM and 800 side. My reference there is an old TS9 modded by analog man. The Origin pedal smokes it, feels like part of the amp.

Just my opinion but I would not choose an ODR-1 style pedal for SRV tones. But if you choose to go the ODR route the Nordland ODR-C is the best of the bunch I have sampled.

Are you wanting a pedal that alters the base tone you have set up on your Cure to be more like SRV? Or will the Cure be set up with its base tone (as close as you can get) to SRV "clean" and you want a pedal to push the amp like he did with his Tube Screamers and similar dirt boxes?
The recently released Crossfire pedal from Crazy Tube Circuits does the former pretty well from the online demos I've heard and includes a separate boost section. I have a Lovepedal Super Six "Stevie Mod" that is also good, but it's not as feature laden as the Crossfire.
If it's just the boost, you can do that with a Nobels, but the basic version won't really replicate the frequency alterations made by a classic TS pedal. (I'm with zpilot on this.)
My $0.02 for what it's worth.

If you really want SRV tones, I'd go for a Tube Screamer style or something like the Vertex Steel String drive... something like that. The ODR-1 is a very nice pedal but to my ears it's got a lot more gain range and is much fuller in the bass (even with the bass switch off) than SRV would've had. The Nobels actually reminds me of the Boss OD-3, which is more mid-gain and full-range; it can even keep up with the level of gain on my Barber Direct Drive (not a low-gain pedal).

I bought a mini to get the basic flavor of of the ODR-1 experience, and it's not for me. I like the tone circuit a lot, way different from the typical treble-bass or treble-middle-bass controls you're used to, but it just wasn't for me. I suspect that it's because I run my amps really clean. I can see this working well for the "edge of breakup" crowd. It's cheap enough - give it a go! At least you'll have a backup OD.
