I enjoyed it up until the last 10 minutes or so. Why do they always have to inject? I mean, I get it, Carlin was political however he told it like it was and didn't take sides. I'd like to know what he'd think of the mess we're in now.

I'd like to know what he'd think of the mess we're in now. ah... i've only watched the 1st episode so far. I highly recommend his book Brain Droppings.

I thought Carlin was hilarious when I first heard him on record in the '70s. So when I had a chance to see him live sometime in the late '90s I couldn't pass it up. What a disappointment it was. He mainly came off as being a bitter old man. I was far from being the only one in the audience that felt that way.

I saw him in the 90s too in The People's Republic of Ann Arbor. I'm not sure which tour it was. He came out with both barrels blazing and never let up. He had the place roaring! I remember laughing so hard I cried! It's fun to go back and watch his early HBO specials. You can sense how nervous he was. Still, he showed his complex analysis of reality. What a beautiful mind. RIP George...
