I'm hoping somebody else has had this issue or knows how to fix it. so my amp had amazing clean headroom and recently I turned it on and now it gets dirtier way quicker than it should, I couldn't ever even get it dirty withought pedals and now when I play the strings a littke harder there is some grit, still did this with me plugged straight into amp with same guitar and everything ive always used. is it most likely a tube going bad? and if so does anybody know which one? could it be a specific spot causing it or am I gonna have to replace everything to find out? thanks ahead of time. also if any one has any good suggestions on retube kits..

If you are also experiencing a volume drop I suspect a power tube is on the way out. Look closely at the power tubes in a darkened room for redplating. Ample examples of redplate online if needed. I would also recommend re-seating all of the tubes by rocking then gently in their sockets.

How old are the current tubes? Depending on how often you play and how hard you drive the output tubes, and of course the quality of the tubes, they could go in as fast as 3 years (6-8 is more common in my experience based on my playing). If you have no spares, I’d get new ones anyway and keep the old ones as backup if they are still good.
