I was trying to trade my Nova for a used Z-Plus and got no takers? So I thought I would give the good Dr. some(more) of my business! Can't wait to get the amp here and see what all the fuss is about

Oh and I found a Strat in the back of my closet that I haven't seen nor touched in years! It's plugged into the "new" tone machine! Thanks again Doc for all you do!

Dare I say that for the most part, the Z's kind of prefer lower output pickups as a generalization. They sort of provide a wider tonal pallet in frequency response and dynamics which then allow the amp do its amplification part. Ok, actually Mike told me that, maybe in not so many words, but that was that point and it rings true to me.
