Anyone ever tried 2 big bottles in their Remedy (instead of 4x6v6)? Or posed this question to Doc? Maybe KT66, 6L6, or EL34. Assuming pinouts worked for EL34, I’d think OT impedance would be about the same match. And I figure the PT would be safe in terms of current available on the heaters and the HT secondaries? Just curious.

I would imagine that MUST be the case with 6V6, and certainly if wanting to use the half power mode. But I’d be thinking two bigger tubes and leave it in full power mode. I’d guess the sockets are paralleled, two pairs of two. But maybe not.
I’m more so just curious. Don’t even have a Remedy (yet) but eyeing the one up for grabs now. Just wondering if a knowledgeable home enthusiast could make it work, and thus be able to work out remedy and antidote type tones in one amp.
