So, 3 weeks in and after many hours of playing both in the studio and with the band, I'm totally blown away.
The amp sounds good at any volume. It's incredibly versatile. You can find any rock/metal sound (VH, G&R, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Ozzy, 80s, 90s 00s It's all in there). It really shines in a band setting. It sits so nicely in mix and never sounds even remotely harsh. It's also the quietest amp I've ever owned. I had an EVH 5150 EL34 and it was great, but super noisy. There was no way to gig it without a noise gate. I actually took my ISP gate off my board earlier today. With the CAZ, you just don't need it.
Another thing that blows mind is how the amp cleans up with your guitar's volume. you can get great low gain clean to full on harmonic crunch with a twist of the knob. It may do it even better than my ZWreck does!
The effects loop is perfect. I've been running a Boss DM2 Delay and a Wampler EQ pedal for a solo boost and they work incredibly well. It sounds like they are part of the amp.
If you are on the fence about picking one up. Just do it! You won't be disappointed!
Here's a quick clip of a rehearsal from this afternoon doing some Velvet Revolver. It doesn't do the amp justice, but you get an idea.

It does sound great in all of you clips! I’ve been toying with getting one for several months now. Let’s see what happens over the remainder of the winter!
I think one would look great in all tolex blackout 😎
