I just finished my board and added this pedal to replace my jam pedals retro vibe. I wanted to put my wah on my board and with all the other pedals I use I just didn't have enough room for the vibe and the wah. I know its technically not a vibe pedal. However I actually like the versatility of it better then the vibe. I can get some really nice vibe like tones through this thing. It just sounds great. So far I am really liking this pedal. Jam makes some great pedals and this one is top notch.

This pedal loves some fuzz! Running my fuzz into it sounds fat unlike how some fuzz going into vibe pedals can sound kind of funky with too much high end. The secret is put your fuzz before it and your drive pedals after it.

This is a great pedal for sure. I like it after my drives in harmonic mode. It adds a little character and creates a lot of space in the sound.
I imagine after fuzz, you're getting a bit of the Hendrix fuzz uni-vibe kinda flavor.

I imagine after fuzz, you're getting a bit of the Hendrix fuzz uni-vibe kinda flavor. I have mine after my fuzz so I can roll back my fuzz and get clean tones through it as well. I have it before my drives . I love the harmonic mode as well. It def gets that vibe throb and uni vibe feel. It cuts through the mix better then a uni vibe to me. Its just an all and out cool and useful pedal just for the movement and harmonic tones it gives you it really surprised me. It does get that Hendrix uni-vibe tone the way I have it set up. Whats really great about it is you can still hear both effects they are not competing with one another. Sometimes with the fuzz and uni-vibe together they clash thats why you always have to see how they both sound together by trying each one before or after the other. I had to do the same with the monk and thats how I came to the conclusion that the fuzz going into the monk sounded better than the monk into the fuzz. I think Dan and Mick on that pedal show also made this same discovery. Glad you like it Nick!

I agree that you can definitely hear the individual effects more when using the Harmonious Monk as opposed to a univibe. That's one of the main reasons I'm using it. The harmonic tremolo doesn't overly color or saturate the tone like a univibe can.
What's your fuzz of choice with it?

Right now I’m using the chase tone fuzz fella it’s silicon but it sounds real fat. I also had the jam pedals fuzz phrase which was really good but I sold it. I have had issues with germanium fuzz pedals being inconsistent. The jam was good though. The chase tone just works really well And has more gain and more options with it. Plus it’s very affordable.

I just got the Harmonious Monk 5 days ago. I currently have it after my Fuzz and drives. I am going to have to play around and move the drive after the Monk and see what it is like. I am digging the tones it produces, especially the harmonic tremelo.

Oh that looks cool! I've got about 10 fuzz pedals and I dig them all. The problem is, every situation I play in is a dense mix. My guitar dissappears as soon as I turn on something fuzzy. Do you ever experience this? How's the fuzz fella in this situation?

Do you ever experience this? How's the fuzz fella in this situation? Well the one thing about a good fuzz is when you roll back your guitar volume It will clean up a bit and this will also help it cut through the mix better. Germanium fuzzes usually clean up better then silicon fuzzes however the fuzz fella cleans up very well when you roll back your volume on the guitar. The way I have my board set up is wah -fuzz-monk-boost-tube screamer-overdrive -delay and the delay is in my effects loop of my amp. My goal is to get everything to blend and with this set up it’s working .

I may also need to get my hands on a fuzz fella to try out. Thanks for the advice!
