Does anyone know when we’ll see the DB4 again? I’m really wanting one but can’t find one anywhere.

I hope soon. I am loving mine and it is a shame it didn't take off before it was discontinued due to legal reasons. I think people think EL84 and have a sound in their head before they hear it but it is real thick and is it's own thing. Hope you find one soon. I have seen them from time to time on Reverb and The Gear Page. You might even find some Z Dealers with a few still in stock. I would suggest possibly going through the list of official Z dealers off the Z website and see if any of them have a DB4.

I guess I should jump in here and offer some response from the home office. First I do believe a couple of Z dealers do have DB 4's in stock, you'll need to do some tracking to find who. I will offer the DB 4 as a Legacy direct build , but my currant lead time is 40 weeks , yes 40 weeks with supply delays that may increase in 2022.
I can't believe that the DB 4 didn't catch on. It is Brad Paisley's #1 go to amp for many years. I guess it is so original in design that people overlooked it . Players are always looking for a deviation of the Holy Trinity of amp designs ( Fender, Marshall , and VOX ) and the DB 4 is not one of them. As stated it doesn't sound like any EL 84 amp you have ever heard, and stands alone in its unique presentation. I learned my lesson about designing outside of the box to a very conservative Guitar Playing customer base, sad but true.

I'm glad that didn't deter you from the CAZ-45 project, Z.
The DB4 is a wonderful amp too. Very happy to have one.

Was just playing my today, and it’s a shame folks can’t find ‘em. So smooth. And the creamiest distortion when dimed.
Hey Doc, are Brad’s DB4’s the same as the production models, or are they tweaked a bit differently?
