I just finished season 3.
It's pretty good, although I think they hurried and wrapped up the series way too quickly in the last episode. I don't think there will be a season 4, so they rushed to tie up all the loose ends.
But it's the kind of sci-fi adventure series that is very family oriented and you can watch it with pre-teens and not be bored out of your mind. Heck, my youngest grandchild is 15, and I still enjoyed the series watching it by myself. No swearing, no implied sexual material...except for the awkward teen attraction and 1st kiss stuff. Actress Parker Posey plays the menacing Dr Smith...and between her acting and her dialogue...her character is wonderfully slimy and evil.
I'll sound like an old man and that I think kids under 6-7 might be scared of the robot(s). (They're pretty intimidating and at times, very scary) However, there could be parents who would say "Have you seen the violence and terror young kids watch these days?...this show is nothing!"
If you're looking for some easy-to-digest sci-fi...give it a try. Excellent graphics and cinematography.

Thanks. I probably would have missed this one. I've always been a fan of the Forbidden Planet movie (Frank Drebin plays Captain Kirk with Robbie the Robot) and the original TV series spin off. Forgot to mention the feature movie based on the show...not awful.

Slightly corny script at times but I watched all 3 seasons. I rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars.. Stuck with it because I watched reruns of the original series in the 80’s.

I watched the first two seasons a while ago. There was a delay with the 3rd season, Covid probably. It was good. Definitely worth watching. It got a little corny at times but what show doesn't?
I really liked the robot. Whoever designed him did a real good job. The lights that made up his "face" were mesmerizing. I liked some of the things that came out in the third season. If I'm being critical they could have eliminated more than half of the second season and elaborated more on the stories in the third. I thought the second season dragged at times and seemed to be the same thing over and over. The third had alot of cool stuff, but it seemed crammed in.
If they added another season I rather they go the route of Star Wars and offer new seasons out of sequence. I'd like to see more on the robot lair and their creators. I rather see what happened before season one than a continuation of where it left off.
It was good though. I really liked it.
