So I've been jonesing for a Ric ever since forever, dunno why I haven't gotten one before. Then Poodle put up a post about Lennon's Rics and that pushed me over the edge. So a Rickenbacker 350 V63 in Fireglo should be here tomorrow. Merry Christmas to me! EDIT: Here's a picture of my actual guitar sent by Sweetwater. I love the neck wood grain, and it weighs 6lbs10oz.

Whoa! That's nice Dave. Frank's (britinvasion) FB videos with him playing his Ricky 12 makes me want one!

Leave the bridge cover onš.....seriously Will do, but why? I actually take it off of my 6 string 370 so I can palm mute / dampen strings better but I leave it on my 360/12 twelve string so it can ring better. I guess it's a matter of personal preference , just my 2 cents.

i.pinimg.com/736x/5a/7b/d0/5a7bd053e28abdeda2fe39974ac1061c.jpgAw Iām just jokinā, but I agree with the above and find it forces me to approach the instrument differently. You know the original one John had with the Bigsby had a different bridge with fixed stagger for intonation and you could palm mute it. But what if you start to take it off and drop one of those little screws and lose it for good! You know John did tinker with his guitars a bit, from stripping finishes to having them painted to electronics, but as to that cover if is was there he left it on. Probably was too busy writing great music! tilonlysilenceremains.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/receipt2.jpg

I used my 360 Friday night for our churchās Christmas Eve service (into a Therapy for those who wondered). Man, I could sell all my other guitars and be happy.

I leave my bridge covers on. They donāt detract from anything I do and I think they look good. Yes, I occasionally mute.
The 350 is very back-friendly and it gets a wonderful tone.
Iāve told this story before, but my 370/6 and my Rics since acquiring it made a huge difference in my life. Now whenever I play or record, I usually start with a Ric. Even if I donāt, I usually end up using one.
