Does Doc have any plans to add that option to the Jetta or plans for a freestanding unit?

For analog trem I love the Swamp Thang trem from Monster Effects. Great brown face trem.

I have a 61 Brown Super and have owned a 60 Brown Concert. The harmonic trem setting on the Flint is pretty darn close to the "real thing".

I'm an analog fanatic and super fussy about tremolo pedals- they have to have a nice tone as well as a nice throb. I dislike some really popular tremolo pedals.
I in no way expect this to change your mind, but I wanted convenient reverb and tremolo with my Cure and took a chance on the Flint. The reverb is good enough, but the tremolo is really good- better than many of the analog pedals that I've tried. As an added plus, it works really well in the Cure's fx loop (which is very different than the Jetta's fx loop). I also like to be able to select between harmonic and bias tremolo.
If I didn't want reverb as well, I would've looked for an analog tremolo pedal. In fact, I am looking for a great analog tremolo pedal to use in the loop of one of my amps that has spring reverb built in.

You might take a look at the Harmonious Monk from JAM pedals.

I keep wanting to think the Flint sucks because it is digital, but it sounds really good. I use the 70's reverb setting and Bias trem. Sounds really nice. I go right into the front end, not the loop. though. If I had to go with separate pedals, I'd find the Swamp Thang trem and use either Catalinbread Topanga or Talisman reverb.

HA both are more expensive then the JETTA itself. A Strymon Flint sounds and works pretty good to my ear. Z

I've been using a Flint for years. One reason was because the amp I was using did not have reverb and the Flint did a good job at both reverb and trem. Most of the time I prefer the bias trem but it does a good job on the harmonic trem also. I don't need reverb on my board currently so I'm using a Supro trem right now. I think it does a more authentic job at those two types of trem. It doesn't have an optical trem though like the Flint does. I moved the Flint to my rehearsal board. I have not opened the Supro to take a look inside but I've been told it has an actual transformer in the circuit which may account for the saturation I seem to hear. It is never totally clean like you would hear in an optical trem.
