I picked up a K&H/Two-Rock Kimock prototype amp. I've spent the morning playing each of my three heads through a Two-Rock 1x12 sealed back cab. The Z-Wreck Jr. holds it own against amps costing 2 and a half to 4 times as much. Anyone on the fence about the Z-Wreck Jr. should not hesitate to purchase one. The build quality, Sound and overall bang for the buck is through the roof. obligatory amp porn

Output wise, how does the Swart and Z-Wreck JR vary? Even though the Z is a few watts less, I’d think it may put out more perceived volume?

I've never compared them. Honestly the AST Pro is my least favorite amp, I think it's the speaker and size of the enclosure. Sounds Stiff or wooden. I have a Swart Atomic Jr. I absolutely love, so I'm sure its the speaker. I'll run the Swart into the 1x12 tomorrow and compare with the Wreck Jr. , report back. Output wise, how does the Swart and Z-Wreck JR vary? Even though the Z is a few watts less, I’d think it may put out more perceived volume?

The Swart AST-Pro is a little louder than the Z-Wreck Jr., but the Jr. is more useable at volume. Make sense?

My Swart sounds like a big fuzzy overdrive at full tilt, but I don’t like playing it at that level of saturation. I guess a couple extra watts can make a difference.
