I got a new guitar today...traded my Strat for this gorgeous PRS S2 Custom 22 Semi Hollow. Brought her home, strung her up with 9's...that's all I had and it feels fantastic. Kinda slinky but I don't mind that a bit. Great tone, beautiful neck that suits a mediocre player like me or a seasoned pro! At first I was worried I was doing the wrong deal but once I got it home and played it, I was hooked!! sharing.bublup.com/ui/landing_page?item_id=001-i-759fef5c-8c24-46bd-b26e-76f388c5a7bd

I've had 3 PRS guitars - 2 were purchased without playing them. My 1st was a McCarty I bought at Wild West here in So Cal and it plays great and feels great. I had the confidence to purchase my next 2 without playing them first (online - used) and they were exactly the same - sounded and played great. Looks great Mark - enjoy it!

Do my eyes deceive me, or has that tremolo bridge been completely decked?

Do my eyes deceive me, or has that tremolo bridge been completely decked? It seems as if it's decked which is fine with me, not a trem fan...and I don't have the bar to try it anyway haha.

Man that’s a great looking guitar. Be careful though. PRS can be a bit of a rabbit hole. I bought my first one right after my divorce. Mostly because I always wanted one, but could never talk her into it. I didn’t know that much about them, except for they seemed really nice from playing some in the stores. It was a 513 I bought online at a good price. I’m not a trem guy. But was very impressed when I opened the case and it was in tune. After traveling 1/2 way across the US via UPS.
Anyway I realized as great as it was, and it was awesome, it wasn’t the exact guitar for me. So even thought I got a deal, I wanted to love it for the price I paid. So sold that one and I really got into them. Trying to find the right one.
Long story short I’ve bought 5, still have 3, and want to replace one I sold, and buy like 5 more. Right now I have a McCarty soapbar, 594 single cut soapbar w/artist package, and an SE 245 soapbar. And the one I want back was a 594 with the 58/15LT pickups. It was my second PRS after the 513. And after buying it, realized I had more important places to spend that money. So bought the SE. And once I got in a better place bought the first McCarty. And then found an absolute steal on the 594 soapbar. And what can I say, I like p90’s. But that 594 with the 58/15’s was the best sounding guitar I’ve ever played. It just had a growl to it wide open on the bridge pickup. I will have another. Unless I keep finding soapbar models. Haha.
