Hi Very interested in a new Mk2 Maz 18 (reverb). Unfortunately the only UK dealer is 400 miles away so it it would be a blind buy. Given the current C19 situation the majority of my playing for the foreseeable future is at home. How does the Master Volume compare to other manufacturers eg Friedman etc in terms of a) lowest useable volume whilst still retaining the goods.
I’ve watched the official video from Dr Z and it suggests whisper volumes. Obv hard to ascertain from a YT clip but how low is it going? How good is the master volume taper?
Hope some people can help.
Thank you.

My music room is next to my daughter’s bedroom and I’ve never woken her up playing late at night. The amp sounds awesome totally cranked, but it still has decent character and reacts well to pedals even with the Master pretty far down.

Ditto. I have both the Maz 8 and 18, and they started life as Mk1 amps. The MKII Master Volume of both amps is stellar. I've never had any problem with tone loss; as you turn them down the tone remains true. It's the best MV that I've ever used. The videos are good representations. They sound great wherever the MV is set.
